A global retailing firm has enhanced the green quotient of its campus.

A global retailing firm was exploring various means of improving its green quotient. We visited one of its campus. The sprawling campus with landscaped gardens was lit by sodium vapour lamps which were power hungry. This office operated throughout the night and hence it was required that lights in certain areas of the campus be kept on throughout the night. We analyzed the power consumption and illumination at their campus. We found that the power consumption for the street lights in the campus was an astounding 26,060 KW/year.

We recommended replacement of the sodium vapour lamps by Innovlite LED lights. Upon replacement the power consumption came down to a mere 6,132 KW/year. While enhancing the green quotient of its campus by reducing energy consumption, the retailing firm also realized a savings of 68% on its lighting expenses. The security within the campus was increased at a low cost. Also there is no need for replacement of the LED bulbs at least for the next 5 years. The use of coloured LEDs also produced a stunning visual appeal

A Fortune 500 IT company has reduced its electricity bill to 1/3rd (or 33%) of its earlier bills.

A Fortune 500 IT company was keen on cutting down on its operational expenses within its office. Lighting was identified as one area where considerable savings was envisaged. After visiting their office and analyzing the lighting we found several defeciencies. It was not necessary to have lighting in all the nooks and corners of the lobby area. It was not required to have power hungry bright lights in the corridor area. The rest rooms needed lighting only when being used. The total energy consumption was a steep 350,000 KW/year. With the electricity costs standing at Rs.5/unit the total cost was Rs.1,750,000.

Upon our recommendation the CFL bulbs were replaced by LED lights. The lobby was lit up by soft lights only in the required areas. In the corridor dim lights were used. In the rest rooms intelligent lighting system was installed. When not in use these would be dimmed completely. The power consumption now is 73,000 and the electricity bill at Rs. 365,000 came down by 80%. Everyone in the office admired the visual appeal created by the new lights.

A global retailing firm has reduced its expenses for lighting inside its office by a whopping 68%.

A global retailing firm was looking at rationalizing operational expenses inside its offices. We visited one of its offices, a huge one, and analyzed the lighting in different areas like lobby, corridor, rest rooms, pantry, path ways etc. This office operated throughout the night and hence it was required that lights in the common areas be kept on throughout the night. The power consumption stood at a high value of 214,445 KWh/year. We concluded that there was a huge potential for savings by using LED lights.

The existing CFL lights were replaced by Innovlite LED lights. With this the power consumption reduced drastically to 60,045 KWh/year resulting in the firm achieving a savings of 68% on internal lighting expenses. While using only as much energy as required the new lighting looked simply beautiful.

A Fortune 500 IT company reduced its electricity bill resulting in increased business profitability.

A Fortune 500 IT company was looking at possible means of increasing its business profitability. Saving costs through reduced electricity consumption was identified as one possibility. After studying the prevailing lighting system, we concluded that drastic reduction in electricity consumption was a definite possibility.

The CFL lights used inside the huge office were replaced by the Innovlite LED light system. Soft LED lights adorned the lobby area. The corridors and passages were lit up only to the necessary extent by dim LED lights. Similarly other areas like rest rooms and pantry were lit up by suitable LED lights after careful evaluation. the electricity consumption came down from 124,100 KWh/year to 620,500 KWh/year. This resulted in a savings of 80% on electricity bills. The top management truly appreciated this endeavour. The people in the office were pleased with the new and beautiful LED lighting.
